I drew this little girl a bit too big. Had to make the card 4 1/4 x 6 1/2. Didn't have room for a sentiment. Guess I'll add something inside when I decide to send this to someone. But I do like how she is colored. I'm experimenting of shades of auburn hair. It's still darker that what I wanted. I used Copic E 13, E18, E19. I just love her shiny shoes.

Happy birthday to my son, Eric. He turned 22 on the 14th.

Happy birthday to my elder sister Kathy. Her birthday was the 13th also. It's an easel card that folds diagonally across the bottom.

Summer cards

Wow it's been a while since I posted any creations. I've made 4 cards this summer.......I'll have to post what I've done soon.

This birthday card is totally late...for my son-in-law. Couldn't find my tool stamps so these are digital images. I was going for clean, simple, masculine......

Lost in Thought

Here is my finished faerie card. The stamp is from Faerie Song. I stamped and colored this 4 times and finally got the colors just right. I love the orange mushroom. It looks so cute with a bit of polka-dot ribbon.

Boy Valentine cards

Couldn't find a boy stamp I liked so I drew my own. The left one is a male version of the girl stamp. For the littlest grandchild who has curly hair I started from scratch. I think it looks so much like him. I made a box to hold all the cards. Since I didn't use the last of the patterned paper for the boys cards I used it the create the top flap. I'll post the box later....after I sign and seal it.

My cards kits are ready to go to the retirement home. This is my original card. I simplified the card I'll be doing. The paper is from Stampin up. I found a McGills lily punch at Richard's today and used my 50% coupon to buy.

My mother in law took another tumble yesterday. This fall broke a vertebrae. I brought this card up to her.

I drove to the Richards in Alamo yesterday and found this little stamp in the discount bin. Mom loves yellow and dislikes pink so here she is in yellow with red hearts.

with this one

Here is my latest card. Not a typical baby boy card. This one is going to Lauren and TJ to welcome John!

My monkey tear bear is not attached so he swings by his tail. I love this corner stamp. Can't beat the sound of baby laughter. Stamped in brown and embossed in clear it just shines. I had fun cutting branches and adding leaves.

Found this cute stamp at JoAnn's for 50 cents. I dug through my scraps and came up with a few die cut circles. I used my new copic markers to color the little lizard. The inside reads...

Mine is UNLISTED

I love this card. I missed a shower last weekend, due to an icky bug.
The invitation asked each person to bring a pair of pink or black panties for a panty tree. Amazingly this patter showed up in my email box. The pattern was created by stamp owl's studio. I found this cute velvet trim at Richards. The panties are embossed with tiny hearts. I used my tiny tacker to attach the ribbon as a tag. There is also a bra version too. So cute

Decided to change colors today. Found this paper from My Minds Eye in my stash. Used the same card sketch as I had for the casino card. I really like how this card turned out.

Another sketch challenge. Found this new stamp at Joanne's. Colored the birds with my Tombow markers. Attached the birds with brads and the flower with dental floss.

This is a card I made for a challenge at Inkyfunstampers. The challenge was to attach the main object with visible attachments. I choose a daisy stitch to attach my mulberry hearts to the lacy background.
